The largest Thanksgiving Day run in the country!
Celebrating our 30 years on November 23, 2023
Join the 31st Annual Run to Feed the Hungry – A Sacramento Tradition!
Get ready to lace up your running shoes and be part of something amazing! The 31st Annual Run to Feed the Hungry is happening on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, and it’s more than just a fun run – it’s an incredible way to give back to the community. This beloved Sacramento tradition is the largest Thanksgiving Day fun run in the country, bringing together thousands of people to support the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS).
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely walk, there’s a 5K and 10K option for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Plus, it’s a fantastic opportunity to gather your friends and family for some healthy, feel-good fun before sitting down for your Thanksgiving feast!
What makes this event even more special is its impact on our community. Each year, over 300,000 individuals turn to SFBFS and their 125 partner agencies for food assistance, and the need has never been greater. By participating in the Run to Feed the Hungry, you’re helping to ensure that no one in Sacramento goes without food this holiday season. Every dollar raised will go directly toward feeding the 1 in 4 Sacramentans at risk of hunger.
Don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference while enjoying the holiday spirit. Register today and be part of the movement to fight hunger in our community!
