On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the Historic Folsom Plaza and Zittel Amphitheater will host Peaches in the Plaza, Folsom’s annual celebration of the California peach harvest. Open from 9 AM to 2 PM, this free, family-friendly festival invites visitors to sample fresh local peaches, enjoy peach-themed food and beverages, and participate in entertainment and activities.
Presented by Living Smart Farmers Markets and the Historic Folsom District Association, the event features fresh peaches from area farms, gourmet peach creations—pies, salsas, smoothies, BBQ sauces—and inventive offerings like peach lumpia or kombucha. Guests can enjoy live music on the amphitheater stage from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, carnival-style kids’ games, craft booths, raffles, peach-eating contests, and face painting.
Now celebrating over a decade, Peaches in the Plaza remains one of Folsom’s top community events alongside the annual tree lighting. It supports local farmers and artisans while boosting foot traffic for district businesses. Previous editions drew hundreds to thousands of attendees along Sutter Street and surrounding plaza, enhancing local commerce and community spirit.
Parking is available in the Historic District garage; neighborhood street parking is restricted during the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and use garage facilities. For more information, visit historicfolsom.org or ilovemyfarmersmarket.com.
