& Juliet
& Julie
Sacramento, your autumn soundtrack just got sparkly. & Juliet lands at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center for a multi-week run September 24 – October 5, 2025, with evening and matinee performances most days. If you like your Shakespeare remixed with pop bangers and confetti cannons, this one’s your jam.
What it is: A fizzing, funny “what-if” sequel that asks what happens if Juliet doesn’t end it all for Romeo—then rewrites her story to the beat of Max Martin’s greatest hits. The creative team includes David West Read (Schitt’s Creek), with a playlist that samples “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “I Want It That Way,” “Confident,” and more. Runtime is around 2 hours 30 minutes with one intermission.
Plan like a pro: This production uses strobe/flashing lights, loud effects, confetti cannons, and pyrotechnics (great energy, but worth noting for sensory-sensitive guests). The show includes some adult language. Factor that into your family night plans.
Tickets: Grab seats via Broadway Sacramento and official ticketing partners (Ticketmaster lists the run at SAFE CU PAC). If you’re flexible, midweek evenings often have excellent availability.
Bottom line: & Juliet is pure pop joy with heart—and a perfect downtown night out between Farm-to-Fork eats and post-show selfies under the L Street lights. See you there.
