Witches on the Lake” is a community event hosted by Janay Taua, taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 4 PM PDT at Black Miners Bar in Folsom, CA. The event combines Halloween fun with a charitable cause, offering a unique and enjoyable experience for attendees.

Event Highlights:

Paddle Boarding or Kayaking on Lake Natoma: Participants have the opportunity to enjoy paddleboarding or kayaking on Lake Natoma, creating a memorable and enchanting experience on the water.

Supporting Children Battling Cancer: The event aims to make a positive impact on the lives of children fighting cancer. Every donation made during the event, totaling 100%, will go directly to the local charity, Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance.

Witch and Wizard Attire: Attendees are encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit by wearing wizard or witch costumes, adding a touch of magic to the gathering.

The event invites witches, wizards, enchanters, and sorcerers to come together for the 2nd Annual Witches on the Lake Halloween paddleboarding extravaganza. It promises a combination of fun, fellowship, and a chance to contribute to the fight against childhood cancer.

Participants should bring their paddleboards or kayaks and meet at Black Miner’s Bar in Folsom at 4 pm. The adventure will continue until sunset as participants gracefully navigate the waters of Lake Natoma, exploring the historic Folsom Rainbow Bridge area.

By taking part in “Witches on the Lake,” attendees not only enjoy a thrilling paddleboarding experience and magical camaraderie but also play a crucial role in supporting children battling cancer. Important details:

Parking costs $10 if you don’t have a state parks pass.
Donations to Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance can be made in person (please bring cash).
Parking is available in the upper lot, closest to the “Lake Natoma Northern Boat Ramp” as indicated on the map.
The event is family-friendly and open to all ages.
Safety precautions, including wearing life jackets, are recommended for water activities, and participants should be aware of potential risks.
