Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates: From Sacramento’s Sweet Beginnings to Folsom’s New Home
Ginger Elizabeth Hahn’s journey into the world of handcrafted confections began in the orchards of Northern California’s “Apple Hill.” As a child, she spent her days picking blackberries by the pond and harvesting apples—experiences that ignited her passion for creating sweet treats with the freshest local ingredients. Believing that “great chocolate starts with the finest ingredients,” she has built decade-long relationships with trusted Northern California purveyors, reflecting her dedication to quality, sustainability, and farm-to-table practices.
Sacramento: The Sweet Beginning
In 2007, Ginger opened her first boutique in Sacramento’s Handle District, revitalizing the area with her exquisite chocolates and pastries. Her flagship location at 2413 J Street has become a beloved destination for chocolate enthusiasts. The shop offers a range of handcrafted confections, including bonbons, macarons, and the renowned hot chocolate, which has been recognized as one of the best in the United States.

Folsom: A New Chapter
Expanding her reach, Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates opened a new location in Folsom’s Broadstone Marketplace at 2770 E. Bidwell Street, Suite 500. After a successful holiday pop-up, the shop has become a permanent fixture in the community, offering the same high-quality treats that have made the Sacramento location a favorite.
