Dust off the broom (er… paddle) and point your compass to Black Miner’s Bar of Folsom: the 4th annual Witches on the Lake splashes down on Saturday, October 18, 2025. This beloved paddle meet-up is part pageant, part parade, and entirely heart—raising awareness and donations of any amount for @keatonscca to support kids fighting cancer.
Costume code: witchy is the vibe—pointy hats encouraged but not required. If capes aren’t your jam, anything Halloweeny works. Just bring your kayak or paddle board and your best cackle. Prefer to cheer from shore? Spectators can watch from the Rainbow Bridge area—it’s one of the most photogenic perches on the route.
Families, you’re especially invited: floating trick-or-treat stations make this event a kid magnet. Heads-up: kids must have a wristband for trick-or-treating and everyone must register in advance. You’ll find complete details and the registration link at Witches on the Lake
