Birdies Social Club Swings into West Sacramento
West Sacramento just scored big with the arrival of Birdies Social Club, a lively new spot that’s equal parts restaurant, bar, and playground for grown-ups. Located at the 805 Riverfront development, right across from Sutter Health Park, Birdies is designed to be a one-stop hangout where friends, families, and foodies can come together for a full day (and night) of fun.
Picture this: you walk in to find a bright, garden-party atmosphere, the hum of conversation, the clink of cocktail glasses, and maybe even a few golf clubs being swung. That’s because Birdies isn’t just serving up food—it’s serving up play. The venue boasts five indoor golf simulators, perfect for everyone from scratch golfers to casual dabblers looking to hit a few drives between bites of California comfort food.
At 6,650 square feet, Birdies has plenty of room to move. It seats around 170 for dining but can host up to 300 for events, making it one of the most versatile social spots in the region. Co-owners Nicholas and Katie Wootten dreamed up the concept as a way to bring something unique to their hometown: a place that feels like both a local hangout and a destination. Judging by the early buzz, they’ve nailed it.
The menu leans into fun, approachable fare—think brunch spreads, hearty bites, and creative cocktails that keep the energy flowing from daylight to DJ-spun nightlife. Whether you’re catching a Kings game on TV, hosting a private party, or rolling in after a River Cats matchup, Birdies is positioned to become West Sacramento’s go-to clubhouse for good times.
