The Niello Concours, a brainchild of Michele and Brian Moore, has grown exponentially since its inception in 2003. Michele and Brian, seasoned veterans of the car show circuit and owners of a car restoration business, envisioned a Concours-style event that could rival those in more traditional locations. After years of planning and networking, they found the perfect venue at Serrano.

“We always wanted to see a Concours-style car show here in the area,” Michele Moore explains. “When the last Raley’s Gold Rush Days was held at Serrano, Brian and I decided that Serrano would be a great venue for a Concours-style car show. The hardest part was convincing folks, especially from the Bay Area, to bring their cars out here to El Dorado Hills.”

The perseverance paid off. The initial event was a resounding success, drawing impressive crowds and securing a key sponsor in the Niello Auto Group. “The weather was perfect, and we had a great turnout,” says Michele. “From that point on, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship with Niello.”

The event, open to the public from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offers a delightful experience with free parking, accessible accommodations, and a range of activities. With 23 awards up for grabs—including the coveted Best of Show—participants can look forward to some healthy competition and plenty of excitement. There’s also a Car Club Contest: any car club that registers at least three cars will be entered into a drawing for a free California Automobile Museum Car Club Membership for next year.
